Why We Exist

The Entrepreneur Academy was the brainchild of our founder, a serial entrepreneur and businessman, Nicholas Clarkin.

While looking for investment opportunities himself, he came across many budding entrepreneurs and high potential companies that were sadly either too small or lifestyle focussed to suit his investment portfolio.  That said, they were often good people with great ideas and excellent experience in their specific fields.  Nick believed that in spite of their industry excellence, he felt in most cases they would benefit from some experienced commercial guidance and coaching.

Whilst spending time on such early-stage ventures on a one-on-one basis was impractical, he found himself gathering groups of entrepreneurs together to cover generic commercial topics that were universally relevant such as time management, leadership skills, strategic planning or sales and marketing. Today providing this guidance is the Entrepreneur Academy’s core purpose!

The Entrepreneur Academy, while still spearheaded by Nick, also utilises the skill-sets of other industry experts who feel as passionate about supporting commerce, industry and entrepreneurial initiatives as he does.

Should you feel you may benefit from our syndicated learning groups, please do feel free to get in touch.

What We Believe

We believe that entrepreneurs are not “born” but are created by their life experiences, life lessons and personal learnings.  An entrepreneur is simply someone who has seen an opportunity and believes that the associated risks are potentially manageable to the point that success can be achieved.  Often their opinion of their opportunity or visions is so great that on the realisation that their belief is so unquenchable, they take the step to do something about it.  In doing so the entrepreneur is born!

We salute these brave people who have the courage of their convictions to turn their dreams into a reality.

Today, we live in a world where not only is a “job for life” a distant memory is known mainly by an older generation, but a career within the same industry or job type is becoming less and less obvious daily.

In our global society, where modern communications and the world wide web have broken down so many social, economic and commercial barriers, there has never been a better time for entrepreneurs to thrive!

How We Work

We deliver our programmes through lectures, syndicated learning groups, executive coaching sessions and classroom-based learning. As individuals, you would be invited to join learning groups with other active entrepreneurs. Programmes are designed so that while you learn from our experiences and teachings you will also learn from one another. These like-minded individuals can be an invaluable group of allies as you share your growth experiences together.

On completion of your course, you join our alumni of graduates gaining access to an inspiring network of individuals, via our free evening seminars and bi-annual alumni events that are intended not only to provide ongoing support but encourage continual growth and development throughout your journey.
